Certified training moderator for Project Cycle Management (PCM) by the Foundation for Advanced Studies of International Development (FASID) with abundant experiences in trainings. Recently engaged in power sector projects, including financial analysis of electric power companies and power generation project, and evaluation and advisory works for technical cooperation for human resource development of power companies.
With an extensive experience of financial/capital market in the central government and government agencies in Japan and Sri Lanka, my area of specialty includes: macro-economy analysis, financial/capital market analysis, law & regulatory framework analysis for financial & capital markets/foreign investments, research on small & medium enterprise activities and activities of multi-lateral development agencies. Also, financial analysis and formulation of financing scheme for BOP/PFI business is his recent interest. Currently resides in Washington DC, USA.

Starting my career with JICA headquarters Tokyo and Sri Lanka Office covering project processing, implementation and evaluation of Japanese ODA, I then represented an international civic organization in Vietnam for the lasting impact in children’s nutrition, safe motherhood and environment. With OPMAC, I have an extensive and proven consultancy experiences in the fields of environmental and social safeguard; working knowledge and field experience of Japanese ODA (loan, grant aid, and technical assistance); high proficiency in processing and delivering capacity development activities for government officials, development partners and local communities; strong skill in delivering researches, PRA, baseline surveys, socio-economic surveys, census and inventory, and evaluations with scientific analysis in processing quantitative and qualitative data, and; strong and effective interpersonal communication skills.
Away from working scene, I exercise yoga, run a half-marathon within two hours. My target in the upcoming five years is completing a full marathon. Master of engineering (built environment).
I have an extensive career involvement with Japanese ODA Loans in JBIC and JICA over the past dozen years or so. Lots of business experiences as an ODA loan officer not only in mature countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, etc., but also in the countries with special conditions or difficulties like Iraq, Myanmar or so. From preliminary loan project formulation stage to project management stage, I am always committed to his work with eyes set on; how to deliver the profit to the people as expeditiously as practicable.
Based on work experiences in non-life insurance company and public financial institution, I have expertise of financial/ economic analysis, two-step loan, insurance sector, industrial development (especially small and medium enterprises) and higher education. Regionally, worked in the whole Middle East and Asia and former communist countries including the Central Asia and the Eastern Europe.

Working in both private (food dept. in a trading firm) and public (ODA projects) sectors as well as engaging in infrastructure projects in UNDP and JICA overseas offices for years, the consultant is ready to provide its services in the field of (a) agricultural/fishery value chain and agribusiness development, and (b) implementation of and procurement for public finance projects. I am working almost of the time in Bangladesh as a project implementation specialist. I visit executing agencies implementing Japanese ODA Loan project and, whenever troubles happen, I think the solution together with such executing agencies. Since Bangladesh is totally different from Japan in terms of culture, religion and customs, every day is exciting for me!
